About Our Fall
2025 September 11 - 13 Convention/Show in Jemison, Alabama
We have our approved 2025
Show Schedule here. The theme of our Show is "Treasurers
in Grandma's Attic".
As you know, it was with the
help of Michael Jackson of the
Birmingham Club that we were able to find another venue for our Fall
2025 Show. It will be held in Jemison, Alabama, at
"Petals from the Past" which is located about one hour
South of Birmingham.
"Petals from the Past” is
a Nursery that specializes in antique roses and old fashioned
perennials. There are greenhouses full of different genera of plants.
There is a gift shop selling unique items. Soils and soil amendments are
also available along with a complete selection of pesticides. There is a
lecture hall complete with a kitchen and restrooms that will accommodate our show. There is plenty of parking and the venue is
located just minutes off Interstate 65. "Petals from the Past"
was
on the tour list at the 2008 Dixie convention in Birmingham. Those who
attended were well pleased with their visit.

at the Birmingham, Alabama, Botanical Gardens
We
had a very fine show this year at the Birmingham Botanical
Gardens. Bobbi Johannsen won the Best Trailer and Horticulture
Sweepstakes. Wayne Geeslin won runner up Horticulture
Sweepstakes. Betty Ferguson won the Design Sweepstakes, and
Becky McMeel won runner up Design Sweepstakes. Additional
results will be posted soon.
