The
49th Annual DAVS Convention, Show, and Sale in honor of our 50 Years
of African Violet Growing was held on March 8-11, 2006, in Athens,
Georgia.
"Violet
Time in Dixie-50 Years Later" was the convention theme. This was
the show theme at the first convention held in the fall of 1956 in
Atlanta. The Georgia State African Violet Council sponsoring this 50th celebration convention.
